Rules clarifications appear in the FAQ, so it's in your best interest to know what's on there.

A Basketball Disclaimer was added to the Event Documents page. Anyone entering the Student Recreation and Wellness Center is expected to know and understand the policies.

Remember to look at the Calendar to see upcoming dates, including those below:

The last day to send in late registration is March 12th (this Friday).

The Mailer III receipt is due March 15th.

The last day to make reservations at the Alexis Park is March 17th.

The Canoe Paper must be at UNLV BY March 19th.

Please be sure and take a look at the constitution that was sent out last weekend and make any comments or suggestions as you see fit. Please turn this back in to us by March 15th.

We received all of the Technical Papers with no late submissions or penalties, good job everyone! Please be sure to check the technical paper presentation rules under Event Documents.

Hello again PSWRC-ers

Only 37 days to go until PSWRC Las Vegas! Please review each item below and respond if you have questions. All dates and deadlines are also posted on the Calendar.

As we previously mentioned, we will need the following information from each school. Please see the table below for what information is required at the due dates for that information. This will greatly assist us in preparing for your arrival and ensuring a smooth registration process. If you are chartering a bus, we will also need to know that information as we may have to seek extra permission for you to park on our campus.

The waivers that are required to be filled out by each participant are posted on the Registration page under Mailer III. You will be required to download them and turn them in when you register. Please make sure that each person that is registered signs one of these and turns them in, as we will be checking it against your registration. (We previously mentioned that each school would have to sign these in person. However, the UNLV Legal department cut us a break and is letting you download, print and sign them on your own time.)

Please remember the upcoming deadlines:

• Late Registration - March 12th
• Alexis Park Reservation Deadline - March 17th
• Canoe Paper Submission - Received by March 19th
• Geotechnical paper coupon dimensions - March 26th

For the environmental/geotechnical/impromptu and all other events, please be prepared to provide your own goggles, gloves and safety equipment.

We cannot guarantee t-shirt sizes after March 4th, so if you are anticipating any late registrations please lock this down ASAP and get the t-shirt sizes of your late registration participants to us by MARCH 4th. We are ordering t-shirts on March 5th in order to ensure that we get them in time for the competition.

Banquet ONLY ticket holders will not receive a participant t-shirt. Shirts will be available to purchase for $10.

The concrete canoe races are going to be taking place at the Lake Mead National Park (Boulder Beach). We are currently in negotiations with the National Park Service to waive the $5/per vehicle charge for entrance to the national park, but please be aware that you may be responsible for this fee the day of the races. They take cash and credit at the gate.

The Mystery Event rules are posted under Event Documents, get ready to DANCE!

Mailer III is posted on the website. It includes rules for volleyball, technical paper presentation and dodgeball as well.

Please make sure you read the FAQ before you send in a question, as the same questions are being asked over and over again.

Alexis Park still has the 5 room maximum per reservation in place. In order for you to reserve more than 5 rooms, you have to execute multiple transactions. This does not mean that you can't reserve more than 5 rooms or that the same person can't reserve more than one block of rooms. Please call the Alexis Park for more details if you are having problems with the website.

We sent out our region's constitution yesterday. Take a look and if you would like to make changes or add comments, please do so by MARCH 15th. We will be reviewing and amending this document during the business meeting on Saturday April 10th.
