We will follow the rules for the national MSE Wall competition. Therefore, your school has the option to participate at the national MSE Wall competition, along with our regional. However, if you win at the national level, that doesn't equate to a win at the regional level.

Design Report Addendum

Because the National GeoChallenge Competition occurs before our regional conference, the rules for the design report are different.

For the purposes of the Pacific Southwest Regional Conference 2010, no design report will be required. Replacing the report will be a poster presentation which will display the information that is listed on page two of the National GeoChallenge Competition rules. Judges will spend a maximum of three minutes looking over the design poster for each team.

Please take into account the three page length of the original design report when deciding how much information to display on your poster. Also take into account the original contents of the design report as they are listed on page two of the national rules. Each team will be responsible for providing their own easel; we suggest that the environmental and geotechnical teams share an easel since the events take place on different days.
