Jump to Page: .. 4 5 6 7 Q: Are only the specified contaminants going to be added to the water in the environmental event? In the past, I know at CSUN they added a surprise strawberry-milkshake powder to the water, and at UH the water had dirt in addition to the extra minerals it specified beforehand. A: That is part of the surprise, we cannot give any guidance in this matter. Q: The environmental rule sheet says that we must identify the contaminant(s) and remove them with a treatment system. Is our quality of our water going to be based on how much of the contaminants are removed, or will it be based on stricter standards A: We will base on contaminant removal not "how drinkable". Q: Can we have substitutions in other events besides soccer? A: Yes, substitutions can be made in the sporting events. Opportunities for substitutions will be between rounds and during halftime breaks (if applicable). Q: Where can I order sand for the geotechnical event to run further tests/practice for the competition? A: Topnotch Services is the local vendor, but Quikrete has a similar sand for purchase as well. Their website is http://www.quikrete.com/ProductLines/SandWashedPlaster.asp. Q: Are event leaders/coordinators the only people that can email you? A: No!
